JBS Australia’s Pork  Division operates 3 strategically-placed processing facilities as well as over 15 pigs module   across Queensland and New South Wales, with access to an extensive network of quality pigs .  Our network provides the ability to meet the specific demands of various market segments with an extensive range of Pigs and pasture-fed products.

About the Role:

Exciting opportunities exist at our Rivalea  Plant for Skilled Meat Workers- Boners/ Slicers/ Slaughter Persons, general labour . The Rivalea Plant is located  lot 411 rod, Corowa NSW . The Rivalea processing facility is a 5 day operation processing approximately 1900 pigs  head per day 98.000 per year .

Positions are full time with the potential to earn $63,000 (commensurate with experience and skill levels applied) or more with additional overtime.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• To adhere to Workplace Health & Safety and Quality procedures
• Ability to work within a team environment with the ability to take direction
• Good communication skills essential
• Demonstrated integrity and good presentation
• A professional work attitude
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Superior attendance
• Performing general Slaughtering/Boning/Slicing duties
• High Focus and attention to detail

About you:

• A minimum of 1 or 2 years proven experience in Boning, Slicing or Slaughtering , general labour duties required
• Relevant qualification (Cert II/ III Meat Processing) advantageous but not essential
• Previous high level of knife sharpening skills
• Knowledge and understanding of Quality Requirements
